Microelectronics Lab

Egypt's most advanced electronics characterization and validation facility

About the Lab

300 m² of world-class characterization infrastructure.

The Microelectronics Lab at Imhotep I&D Center occupies 300 m² within the Knowledge City Creativity Complex — Egypt's most advanced microelectronics characterization and validation facility. Over 40 instruments span RF through optical domains, covering the full measurement spectrum from DC parametric analysis through 67 GHz vector network analysis.

At the facility's core is a 110 m² ISO Class 7 clean room — enabling controlled-environment device fabrication and packaging. This makes the lab a unique national asset capable of supporting everything from early IC design verification through pre-production device qualification and prototype manufacturing.

Whether characterizing a custom RF circuit, validating a mixed-signal IC, analyzing MEMS optical behaviour, or requiring clean-room fabrication — our specialist engineering team and academic collaborators can support your work from day one.
